CzechoSlovak Geneaogical Society International Conference  (Area events)
Lincoln, Nebraska
The CzechoSlovak Genealogical Society International (CGSI) has contacted us. They are holding a large conference in Lincoln on October 15-19, 2019. The aim of the Conference is to educate the attendees about their ancestors, by teaching them how to research who they are, where they lived, how they lived, what they enjoyed, and what they contributed to our way of life. We will be emphasizing the role that the Czech Immigrants made as "Pioneers on the Prairie," working both in agricultural jobs on their farms and as employees in the Livestock Industry of Omaha.
